Iguana Removal in Broward County
Broward County has two iguana problems at once. The coast — Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Deerfield Beach — is seawalls, finger canals, condos, and marinas. The west — Coral Springs, Pembroke Pines — is community lakes, canals, and large HOAs. Florida Iguana Ops serves both with trapping, removal, and exclusion.
Why Broward County has an iguana problem
The New River, Intracoastal, and finger-canal grid let animals move block to block without crossing a street. West of the coastal strip, master-planned lakes and drainage canals do the same job inland. Shared HOA shoreline means one association’s bank feeds the next. Burrows under bulkheads and pool decks are the expensive damage. Droppings collect on docks, amenity decks, and walkways.

How we handle the job
We inspect first. Then we remove animals with humane, Florida-legal methods that fit the property. After that we look at burrows, nesting spots, and entry points so the next animals off the water have fewer places to settle. Green iguanas are an invasive nuisance in Florida and cannot be relocated and released.
