Iguana Removal in The Acreage

The Acreage’s large lots, canals, and rural-suburban layout give iguanas long, quiet travel routes and plenty of soft bank to burrow. Florida Iguana Ops serves The Acreage with trapping, removal, and exclusion.

Why The Acreage has an iguana problem

This is unincorporated canal country. Animals move property to property along water and drainage cuts without HOA-wide control. A neighbor’s uncleared bank will keep feeding animals onto a lot that just got cleaned. That is why one-and-done visits often fail here unless burrows and attractants are addressed.

Where we see the most activity

  • Canal-front acreage lots and corner properties
  • Drainage easements and culvert crossings
  • Barns, workshops, and unused rear acres
  • Pool decks and lanais on larger homesites
  • Edges where residential lots meet groves or vacant land

How we handle the job

We inspect first. Then we remove animals with humane, Florida-legal methods that fit the property. After that we look at burrows, nesting spots, and entry points so the next animals off the water have fewer places to settle. Green iguanas are an invasive nuisance in Florida and cannot be relocated and released.
